In short: You gotta love the Hustle race
In full: My second year running this great 10 miler.
I enjoyed it as much as ever with a great course, terrific scenery and a Halloween theme. This year was even better with the Halloween themed medal.
I'm suprised more runners don't turn up for this great event. Would love to see some sunshine in 2012 but will be there regardless.

In short: Great off road race
In full: This race is really one to put in the run diary and deserves all the praise (I did the half). I loved the chocolate biscuits at the water stations. I think Farnham Rotary did a great job of organising this event.
The only thing I would change (and I'm sure they will fix this) is to put a palette of bottled water and bananas at the finish line so runners can help themselves.
Otherwise great. Don't care about the mile markers - I have a Garmin.
I'll be booking in early next year as I think this race will become more popular.

In short: Nice race - organisation needs work
In full: Pros:
Nice two lap course - very quite roads
Great marshalls
Nice medal

Cons:
No portaloos
No goody bag - just water and medal
PA system couldn't be heard - even the air horn for the start wouldn't work

In short: Slick no problems 10 miler
In full: A fun well organised course. A couple hills but still a fast route.
For late comers (like me) it would have been great to have a sign directing us from HQ to the start line. Other than that really enjoyed the run and will be back next year.

In short: A great Half Marathon
In full: Having just done Brighton And Bath I enjoyed Hastings the most. The challenge of the hills and the great crowd make it one of the better half marathons in the UK.
I think Hastings Lions did a great job but things could be improved upon.
The finish needs to be sorted out:
- Goody bags for everyone
- Keep non-runners out of the finish area as it was mad in there with everyone scrambling for hot tea (or me for a cold drink)
- My chip time did not record and I noticed many gaps in the results for others. I've emailed Sports Systems about this but have not had a reply.
I'll be back to tackle that hill again.

In short: No fuss 10 miler
In full: Well organized. No fuss, friendly marshals and a nice medal to finish off. Very flat but probably a bit twisty for a PB. There was one section (the first long switchback) where runners shared the road with cars. Apart from that the course was mostly car free.
Worth the effort to get there - well done.

In short: Cold, muddy half-marathon but well worth it
In full: On the whole a good half-marathon. The point-to-point course down the canal keeps you interested however it does get tough under foot. The general organisation is good and the marshals are efficient and friendly.
The bag storage is terrible and seems to be a regular complaint of this event. If pre-numbered tags were supplied in the race kit it would cut down the queues at the start of the race. At the end of the race the baggage people only need to lay out the bags in piles 100-199 etc and that would have cut down on the melee at the back of the truck. The bag movers have a good one hour jump on the race group to get this sorted. Overall a good event with a challenging uphill finish and a nice medal.

In short: A great old fashioned cross country race.
In full: Lots of hills and sand on this 10 miler. Friendly and well organised marshalls. Had no trouble with the markers and directions.
A definite race to mark in the calendar. Let's hope for some sunshine next year for to make a perfect event.
Would like to have seen a halloween themed medal - maybe next year.
Well done everyone for a great run.

In short: Well organised fast, scenic in the center of London
In full: Great 10K and fast enough to set a PB. A beautiful sunny Sunday morning added to what is already a great central London run. Just enough runners to create an atmosphere but not too many to be crowded. The only down side is you are running on shared paths so there is a bit of toursit dodging.
Simple, no fuss organisation. A definite must do if you can get into London.

In short: Nice race - what a 10K should be
In full: Easy going friendly race. No fuss, no hype, easy registration and bag check-in. Usual rush for the toilets. Course was enjoyable enough with a bit of the river half way. Finish was back at the start in the YMCA grounds with chip timing results available in minutes. Marshalls effecient and friendly.
