In short: As a beginner, it was a really good experience.
In full: This was my first race ever. Never even been to a race as a visitor before let alone a competitor. I thought the organisation was good leading up to the race (email coms etc) and was good on the day.

I hope they keep doing this race again next year, as I definitely plan to beat what is now my PB!
