In short: Great fun & fantastic scenery!
In full: A pleasure to run from start to finish and a brilliant atmosphere from when you arrive to when you leave. The first 4 km up the hill are hard work but that's all worth it when you level off as the views are brilliant and you can enjoy them even more as you head down towards Torver. Thanks to Graham & all the Lakeland Trails team and a special mention for the marshalls and photographers who always offer a smile and encouragement on the way round. Can't wait for next year's Lakeland Trails at Coniston and might now have a go at the Coniston marathon in July if I can get the training in!

In short: Magnificent!
In full: Well done to Graham & all the Lakeland Trails team for creating a magnificent scenic marathon. After seeing the slide show of the course on the Lakeland Trails website, and having done the other Lakeland Trails runs I was itching to do the marathon challenge but had to pull out with a week to go due to injury & lack of training. The feedback from those who did the marathon has been extremely positive, everyone commenting on the glorious Lakeland scenery, and it was a pleasure for me to play the music to everyone relaxing after the run. Thanks again to the Lakeland Trails team! Pete Lashley (www.facebook.com/petelashleymusic)

In short: A Joy To Run!!
In full: Well done to all the Lakeland Trails team for organizing, yet again, a stunningly scenic course which was an absolute delight to run on.
From the relatively gentle start along the old railway line crossing beautiful wooded rivers and streams, then up through bog onto the mountain sides. The views...!! From the highest part of the course the views are sensational, not only looking back down on the valley below
from where you have come but also of the whole of Derwent Water and the surrounding fells...tremendous!!
Also, a big thumbs up to the Lakeland Trails team for once again organizing such a family friendly and enjoyable pre and post-race experience. It was a pleasure to be involved. Roll on Coniston!
