In short: ...hilly in parts, some off road trails through the park, boarder-line PB race? In full: ...good start to the race calendar! well marshalled, tough but welcoming course. Lots of off road running through parks and trails. Some steep inclines in parts so might suit a PB. Well attended, around 500 I think. First 2k was a bit aukward as we were sent from the main raod onto a narrow path (all got a bit congested), but after that there was plenty of room to stretch your legs! Race fee was donated to charity, so all in a good cause!...momento at end was a bit strange....'hat and gloves set?'..personally would have preferred a medal...just something to look back on when I'm telling the grandkids how good I was!...would certainly do it again!
