In short: Heart warming
In full: I feared this race as I had seen it was hilly, and yes it was but loved it! Great support around the course. Well organised, nice medal and tech shirt. Plenty of water. I came home with a great buzz! Thank you!

In short: Tough, hilly, sandy, beautiful and a must!
In full: This was my first ever marathon. Booked it as it was on my doorstep, then checked the route! I knew it was going to be tough and hilly and I was'nt disappointed! Very well organised, beautiful mainly off road route. Great medal, t-shirt and 2013 calendar with the highlights of the route. If you want something different then I would recommend this!

In short: A proper run to have fun on!
In full: Wow! Fantastic day! Decided to run as Dennis the Menace as this was my wife's first running event! Expected the hill, and loved it! 944ft of fun ascent! The wife loved it! (had a divorce lawyer on standby!). So much so, that not only does she want to do it again, she's signed up for another half! Personally I'm all in for the full next year! The marathon runners looked hot and serious, but were all very friendly. The race put a smile on my face and it's still there!! Well done all!!!

In short: Top run in beautiful weather
In full: Really enjoyed this Half. Being my local it was a must for my 13 years absences from running Halfs. Well organised and very well supported on course! Agree with the drinks scenario. Did'nt plan on using their drinks, but it was very warm. Spent majority of the drink on my head, glad i sipped them first as i ended up with an electrolyte drink at one point! Could have been sticky! Love the medal too!
