In short: Hilly but very picturesque and well organised.
In full: An excellent race and considering it was the first one, its was very well organised, you wouldn't have known! The warm up was fun, the organisers were friendly and he marshals were brilliant! Considering how hilly and hit it was they maintained a great sense of humour and offered lots of support. I would definitely recommend this race - fantastic hoodie bag and medal and prizes for some finishers. I even won a Special Award as I ran it 28 weeks pregnant! Brilliant. We shall we back!

In short: 2nd time doing this race - still my favourite hands down!
In full: This is my favourite run of the calendar, hands down. The atmosphere is fab and the organisation is excellent. I love the fancy dress outfits and the efforts people make to get their charities noticed. And you cannot beat the hoards of kids, old folk and bands that line the streets to get us all round. High fives and jelly babies on every corner. Very much PB potential if you can navigate your way through the crowds of walkers and slower runners, definitely worth fighting your way to the start of your field if you want to get a good start. We stayed over / last year we got the train and I can highly recommend either of these for ease of movement in and out of the city. I can't wait for next year!

In short: You chase people dressed as bananas. How much more fun is there to be had?!
In full: Excellent fun race with pb potential. 2 laps around Willen Lake in MK makes for a lovely scenic run. The pack can get a little crowded at times because of the thin foot paths but the pack soon spreads out. Free t-shirt to run in as well as an excellent medal, goody bag, lots of bananas (real ones to eat!) and chip timing.
Loads of support from locals on a day out and plenty of space for family and friends to come along and watch :)
Will definitely be back!

In short: Fast, flat with beautiful scenery - I'll be back!
In full: This was my second ever half marathon and with my first being Silverstone, this one came with the added bonus of fab scenery! It was a joy to run with loads of space and excellent support. Loving the fact that I get to keep my number year after year!
Excellent marshalling, excellent support form the locals despite the driving rain and very good race village. Some people complained about the loos, baggae drops and start loop but we didnt experience any problem at all with any of it, the only issue we had was getting out of the multistory car park at the end which isnt the organisers fault - oh and the terrential rain! Again, not their fault but if they could have a word with the weather gods next year that'd be fab!
Excellent medal too!
