In short: Fantastic Day even though I hit a wall which wasn't on the route! In full: From the beginning to the end this was a great day.
Great atmosphere - good athletes village - very enthusiastic volunteers - all worked well.
Only suggestion would be to make the mile posts more visible particularly at the beginning as I missed some.
Back next year to run it not just complete it. Date of review: October 10, 2011

In short: Should have broken 40:00 in my first race but for longer course In full: First ever race for me and I enjoyed it.
Plenty of parking. Bridge over the road to event was fine but I felt it after the race!
Started off slow at 8:15 for first mile. I then remember thinking after 4 miles that I might have a chance of breaking 40 mins but despite "sprinting" last mile was slightly disappointed with 41:15. However after reading others comments on here about the course being a little longer I may well have broken the 40:00 mark so that is a bit annoying. Date of review: September 15, 2011

In short: I really enjoyed this 10 Mile race In full: Having decided to do this race at the last minute I was very pleased that I did.
It was only my 3rd race and was a pre marathon run out.
The car parking and registration was very easy. The overall organisation and marshalling were also very good.
It was hard work for me as I set out a little too quickly but ended up with as good time as I could have expected despite a nice blister!
The route was a loop of 2 miles and two of 4 miles. There were a few gentle inclines and a quite steep hill which was near the end of each loop. 2 water stops (at 3 and 7 miles) were appreciated but another would have been a nice.
The free pictures provided by Bryan at http://www.racephotos.org.uk was a welcome bonus.
Although I didn't partake of the service there was a pre and post massage for a charity donation.
The only improvement I would suggest are the need to have more toilets as there was only 1 male toilet and a large queue developed.
