In short: Great event and well worth doing In full: Really enjoyable race. A few challenging hills on an undulating course, but still PB potential. Goody bag and T-shirt are great, but the organisation and marshalls really make it worthwhile. It's not all traffic free, but it doesn't need to be. Weather was great too. All in all, well worth doing and I'll be there again next year. Date of review: October 8, 2012

In short: A Great Summer Evening with something for everyone In full: I really enjoy the smaller races and this one was another cracker, thanks to everyone at Wilmslow Running Club who did a great job of organising it. The route was tougher than expected (the hill really is a killer - sorry I didn't believe the previous reviews), but I really enjoyed the run. The Railway pub has a good range of beers too. Results were available almost straight away and all procedes went to a very worthwhile charity. Fantastic! Date of review: May 13, 2011

In short: First 4km are really tough, but this is an awesome event! In full: As the previous reviews have said, this is a great event but the first 4km are really tough. Underfoot is wet, slippy and rocky which didn't help me on the way down as other runners were flying past me. Next time, I'll push myself to run all of the quarry hills, because I was stuck in a queue later which gives you time to get your breath back. Date of review: October 4, 2010
