In short: Proof that the human spirit is greater than mother nature...some days!! In full: Others have described the conditions and course well...I was heartened through all of that to see everyone just keep on going and more so by the hardy (maybe crazy?) marshalls. A cup of tea and envious selection of treats offered in driving wind + freezing rain just off Butser Hill proved the human spirit is great - or maybe today we all did deserve to be called 'nutters'!!! Big Thanks to all, looking forward to tornado and earthquake next year... Date of review: February 10, 2013

In short: Hills, rain, mud and even mist....excellent!! In full: Good race in torrential rain making tough hills even more slippy. View through the mist on top was still worth it! A really good course and well done to all marshalls who braved the wind and the rain, at least I was able to run as fast as possible towards the warm car! Date of review: September 23, 2012

In short: Great camping, great run, great fun - don't wait..just do it!! In full: Well organised, camped overnight with beautiful sunset, lovely evening meal, good facilities, bar and friendly camp fire atmosphere. Run course is excellent, hilly, boggy and so much fun for all those taking part - and great obstacles for all spectators to watch at finish. I recommend taking the family, camping overnight as you won't be disappointed. Where else do you start a race by shouting Banzai and end it covered in mud climbing a wall...brings out the child in you?!! Date of review: September 9, 2012
