In short: Good winter marathon
In full: Good race to enter to keep training going when it gets dark. Course equally suitable for going for a pb or just taking it as a nice training run.
In bad weather I can imagine it could get miserable, especially if the wind got up, but this year it was mild and calm.

In short: great course, will try it again on a dry year
In full: Nothing more to say other than to echo everybody else's comments. Great route, fantastic organisation and wonderful support made for an 'enjoyable' day!
