In short: Great with one miserable exception
In full: A beautiful day for running, The grounds were great the warm up hosted by Bob wilson (ex Arsenal goalie) was moving. Rocky warm up was great. Race through the undulating grounds of hatfield was lovelly. The ONLY gripe and this may sound stupid, was.... If you are going to have the finish line showing when you come round the corner, Make it the finish line. I sprinted as I am sure many others did hoping to make up some places. only to realise i had to do a lap of the field first and end up at the back of the finish. it runined me having to kick again, running on grass uphill to the "other" finish. Other recounted the same issue. Apart from that well done. great cause. will be back wiser, next year.

In short: Rain, Hills, Rain, Rain, Hills............oh and rain.
In full: I was not looking forward to my first "Hard" half marathon and my first long run since the London marathon, but I have to say once you ascend the first hill which is a killer, you get into it and thouroughly enjoy it. very well organised and supported. I could have done with a canoe in parts but the rain probably made a hard course bearable. Well Done organisers for a wet and wild day.

In short: Great local race. more cross country than road race
In full: Had a great day the kids 2k was enjoyable as i took my soon for the first time. the 10K is challenging and has alot of off road and uneven tracks which worried me as I have problems with my ankles taking away slightl;y from the views. I will definatley go back next year though.
