In short: A great race all round,well worth the money,travel time but make sure you do hill work in the weeks leading up to it!
In full: Big thanks to all volunteers and ETL for putting on such a great race.Lovely scenery not that I saw much of it, very friendly competitors and a nice HQ.Hills 2 and 3 seemed to go on for ever but the coming back down was fun.
Only one gripe the age old problem of water in cups,especially as I was doing the individual event.Could ETL not put price up by a pound and allow individuals one bottle of water somewhere on course?Anyway only a small issue,EXCELLENT EVENT.

In short: Apple and medal,what apple and medal?
In full: Didn't expect much for a tenner and this one lived up to expectation's.Marshall's looked bored,four laps boring,got my t-shirt at the beginning but didn't relise it was for last year. Didn't get handed a medal or apple at the finish and by the time I was in the car and saw someone with one around there neck couldn't be bothered to go back. All in all average,see you next year to collect this year's t-shirt!
