In short: Most scenic 10 miler around In full: First time I've done this race, was told it was an undulating pretty course, well worth doing. I wasn't disappointed. Good organization, works well starting at a leisure centre with a track. No queues for loos or baggage. Very friendly marshals.Loved the technical t.shirt, normally never get one in a small size and a ladies fit! Great to have a t.shirt that I can wear. Will definitely be back. Well done Salisbury-arc, really enjoyed it. Date of review: March 11, 2014
In short: Perfect last long run before a Spring marathon. In full: I love this race, maybe as it's the last 21 miler I do before a marathon. It signals the end and the start of taper. But I really enjoy the course, rural, quiet undulating roads. easy to break up mentally as well, with the extra loop. This year was by far the coldest. So, I've entered a review, to say a huge thank you to the marshals that stood for hours in that bitter weather. It was really appreciated, so thank you! I'll be back, a tenner for 21 miles....brilliant value! Really liked the new finish in the field :-) Date of review: March 25, 2013
In short: perfect for spring marathon training. In full: Always enjoy this 2-lap route,a 10 miler soon turns into a 20 miler without really thinking about it.
Loads of gels and sweeties on the way round, much appreciated!
Easy parking, just by the start. Good bacon butties, afterwards.
Some of the most jolliest and cheerful marshals on any race. Big thank you to them for standing in the cold, smiling and cheering all the way round, (especially the two lovely ladies at mile 8/18). Date of review: March 4, 2013
