In short: wet and wild.
In full: Weather was challenging. Great route and lovely coastal scenery, which I may have taken more notice of on a less blustery day. Very well organised, big thank you to the Marshals and also to the onlookers who shouted encouragment. Jelly babies galore, toilets and water stations all well positioned. Just a normal day at the British seaside!

In short: Great scenery, big hill, fab cakes!
In full: Really enjoyed this one. Very cheerful bunch. Well organised start, very well marshalled along a scenic route. Down hill at the end, tea and cakes at the finish..what more could you ask for? Thanks. I'll be back for the 17 miler

In short: Undulating, scenic and friendly. Organisation at start needs improvement.
In full: First time I have run this race. I found the start a little chaotic, lined up at what we thought was the back only to find we were at the front, so had to quickly scramble through to get out of the way. Unclear as to where the actual start line was making it difficult to start watch timer. As a slow runner, the narrow start wasn't as much of a problem for me as I guess it would be for those looking to race from the get go. Good course with enough of a challenge for me, thanks! Very friendly and encouraging marshalls. Great cakes at the end! Will be back next year, eager to improve my time.

In full: Endurance rather than speed, cooperation rather than competition. Great course, did most of it with a grin. Organisers certainly gave us lots of challenges. One complaint - not enough mud! LOL!!
