In short: Salisbury Plain in the winter - hasn't changed since the Bronze ages
In full: Glad to know that the firing was suspended for at least a week to allow for all runners to complete the course!! Local knowledge about the range road caused dithering about trial or road running shoes in our household.. glad for trial shoes! Great run and the bitting wind made up for the short course by 1.3 miles. Very well organised, and the proliferation of 4X4 "Rescue" vehicles were very comforting. All the race was missing was a loud hailer!!
