In short: Let down by poor organisation at the start In full: This race has good potential- very nice course, but a bit tough on a hot summer's day- however the organisation at the start was very poor. The registration desk couldn't decide if I had to pay park entry fee (bit of a rip off springing this on us anyway on top of the race entry fee) Also the marshals couldn't seem to agree where the start was and there were no signs for the toilets, which not everyone found. Pity, because the Sodbury Slog is so good! Date of review: July 18, 2005

In short: so tough I was glad to see the cemetery gates! In full: a real tough one- as I'd wanted- and had I had any breath left after the mile 9 climb, I would've breathed a sigh of relief as I drew level with the cemetery gates (which marked the summit of the last hill). Big thanks to all the super friendly marshals for supporting a tortoise among the many hares on the course! Date of review: May 31, 2005

In short: Delayed start let otherwise good organisation down In full: Was delighted to discover we were welcome inside the sports centre at the start, so was able to sit inside in the warm. Green Park bands were doing a grand job, would have been good to have more musicians around the course. Date of review: March 7, 2005
