In short: fairly well-organised race, though stretching value for money In full: fairly well-organised with friendly marshals giving helpful encouragement. A tough, but rewarding run, and one i would have definitely done again had my £13 earned me something more than a generic medal which i can only assume is given to all competitors in legacy events. Sadly for this event, a number of better organised, greater value for money races in the north-west leave this trailing behind. Date of review: August 19, 2012

In short: first time i've done this run and i'll be back for more. In full: A challenging run in that the majority of the first 3 miles is downhill before a 2 mile gradual climb. The last mile was ok though. Like someone else has said, the hill climb was made easier due to there being no wind. Date of review: October 31, 2010
