In short: Hard but fun!
In full: Very well organised, super-friendly atmosphere and marshalling, well marked course in superb location - what else could you want? Only my second half marathon and completely enjoyable. The secnery was fab, the uphill was really tough without being impossible to run up and the downhill was just a massive adrenalin rush - especially with the dog (though not sure I'd want to attempt it in wet weather)! Thanks to organisers for a great race and for letting us canicrossers join in, fantastic and interesting course for the dogs. Look forward to next year!

In full: Thanks to Humanrace\Asics for letting the canicrossers join again and thanks to all the marshalls\organisers for a great job on a very cold day.
Very challenging course, would have a lot more fun without the snow and ice but that couldn't be helped!
Nice to see a very friendly reception for the dogs by the other runners too :o) and thanks for the treats and water for the dogs at the end!

In full: A goof run course, some of the hills were a bit on the steep side but nothing that was too dangerous!
Well organised and friendly, helpful marshalls, i changed distance from 10k to 15k on the day and it was sorted out with minimum of fuss - thank you!
I ran with a dog and we started 2 minutes after the main runners which worked well I thought as by the time we caught up with the back markers the field had spread out nicely and there was plenty of room on the trail.
Would definitely do this one again.

In full: As a dog runner it's a shame to see negative comments about the dogs. How anyone can say they got in the way any more than the humans is absolute nonsense. You could just as easily complain about other things, but each to their own I thought this was about fun?
Although I agree it might have been a good idea to let the dogs go first.

Anyway great race and definitely would do it again, nice mix of terrain and good running surface for the most part.
