In short: overall well organised- but I'm sure the hills were steeper on the 2nd lap.
In full: Slick organisation- started on time- plenty of marshalls and good crowd support in places. Lots of water stations and nice finishing funnel with DJ shouting out finishers' names was a nice touch. Goody bag a bit poor. Big down side was the fact that the race wasn't closed to traffic- so especially on the 2nd lap you had to check and sometimes wait whilst crossing roads, mavouvre around cars and parked vehciles, buses etc!

In short: brilliant organisation, great T shirt and freebies, nice route
In full: I loved this race. The staggered race start worked like clockwork and there was plenty in the event village to keep the family entertained. Staff and marshalls were friendly and the route was interesting and challenging. Free T shirt and goodie bad were great- well worth the money- shame the hot weather prevented a PB!

In short: Nice flat course- PB potential
In full: I enjoyed this race. It has a nice flat route which despite not being traffic free seemed to work well and had definite PB potential with just the right amount of water stops. Only criticism in the final straight- which became clustered with spectators and the 'goody bag' not actually containing any goodies!

In short: lack of mile markers, marshals and water stations detracted from what was otherswise a well organised and scenic race
In full: A 2 lap route through some pretty villages. The route wasn't traffic free but in my experience the other roads users didn't cause a problem. There were however a distinct lack of mile markers which made pacing difficult and fewer than the advertised amount of water stations (none between 14 and 20.5 miles was tough). Lack of marshals at certain points on the race led runners heading in the wrong directions (myself included). Nice finish in front of the Worcester Warriors stadium. Lame 'goody bag' only contained a lolly and a chewy bar! Lots to work on for next year- sort out those niggles and this could be a great race

In short: best race I've ever done!
In full: This race is not for the feint hearted due to the shear number of hills! This is made up for by the absolutely stunning scenery, the friendly nature of the race and the great support along the race- mars bars and jelly babies at every water stop- brilliant! Quite simply this race is tough but brilliant!

In short: a good race- but poor organsation lets it down
In full: Orgnisation at the start and end of this race really let it down. On arrival at this race there were a lot of bottle necks- there were barriers where barriers didn't need to be- this and the awkward start line position left runners struggling to get to the start. I myself and numerous runners had to climb over the barrier to reach the start line, at which point there was so little space- definitely no room to warm up.

Theoretically this race, being mainly flat should have offered PB potential, and the scenery for the most part was inspiring, however for at least the first 3 miles there was little scope for picking up speed- it felt like there were far too many runners for the width of the road.

On the whole a good race, but organisation needs to be much better to warrant the hefty race fee (and a slightly better goodie bag wouldn't go amiss either!).

In short: well done black pear joggers- an amazing race, great organisation and stunning scenery
In full: A briliant first race from the black pear joggers. The race was well organised with encouraging marshalls throughout. Awesome scenery and a nice challenging race- especially the hill climb to the finish! Nice little goodie bag at the end and the free cup of tea was a nice touch. Hopefully this race will take place next year.
