In short: Not the most scenic but great atmosphere In full: The route is not the most scenic mostly run along dual carriage ways. It does have a fantastic atmosphere with thousands lining the route to support you on your way. Probably not the best run to get a PB as there are quite a few hills and due to large number of people taking place there will be plenty of people blocking your route. Date of review: October 2, 2007

In short: Bit of a hilly course, and start not well organised In full: Unfortunately for the number of people the start is not wide enough and even the 2 hour sign is so far forward that it should probably say 1h 30. Not the best organised start. Date of review: September 27, 2005

In short: Very tough this year due to weather In full: Despite having trained more than any previous year I found this the toughest due to the fact it went from being so cold I was shaking two hours before the start to being so sunny that I ended up very dehydrated. Unfortunately as always there was the people who feel the need to walk after half a mile starting near the front - why can't they show a consideration and start near the back! In short: Best race ever In full: Despite the heat on the day which totally drained me I had a fantastic time. The support just goes to prove why London is so great and you could not fault the organisation - well done to all the volunteers. Would I do it again? Definitely. Date of review: April 19, 2005
