In short: Massive race, good for a beginner
In full: Weather was a major feature, freezing cold rain with a touch of wet snow could not have made it worse conditions. This did affect supporter numbers, can't blame them. Nice finishing in the stadium and did give a boost. Would do again next year and any improvement on the weather should bring your time down.

In short: Not for a beginner unless they can cope with hills a-plenty!
In full: Really nice change of pace from Reading half with less people, much friendlier. Route was well organised and v well supported especially at the nasty hills between 7-10miles. Finish was nice setting and again very well supported. Hills a real feature!

In short: Perfect for beginners, mostly flat with the occasional slope. Great atmosphere at the start and finish, really well supported and a great MC congratulating finishers. A definite for next year.

In short: Always the week after Thame 10K and is always cooler which is a big help. Enough up and downs on the route to let you know you have done it but without being gruelling. Enjoyable race.

In short: Course is pretty flat and easy going for beginners. However it doesn't matter what the weather in the build up, this race is always scorching hot. Temps were 25-28 today. PB put on the back burner!
