In short: Great race - Definitely worth a place in any runners Spring Marathon training schedule.
In full: First time running at this event - definitely back for more next year.
A nice mix of club and casual runners, all made to feel welcome.
Although two races run simultaneously (10 & 20 miles) the start is well organised with time banners for both races to line up to - thus reducing congestion.
Excellent, supportive marshalls and lots of them, throughout the entire route (thank you to them, both for the support and encouragement and for standing out in the cold for so long on a sunday morning!)
Lots of water stations - a big thank you particularly to the Army cadets at the 5/15 mile station for the 'singing' encouragement - well done to you).
A fairly flat course with just a couple of inclines at the 6/12 & 8/18 mile marks - but on largely traffic free country lanes. Nice scenic course.
All in all - I would thoroughly recommend this race. Well organised, well supported, great marshall's and local support - the only thing missing is a nice warm shower at the finish!! ( but I guess you can't have it all!!) Thank you Reading Roadrunners and all connected with the organisation of this great race. See you in 2013.

In short: Great race and atmosphere. Some lovely scenery. Largely traffic free. Some challenging hills. Lots of water stations. Truly fantastic (best ever) support from on course marshals and public alike - THANK YOU.
In full: Well organised local event with a large field and a great atmosphere. Sure there were a couple of glitches with runners waiting in a queue for some time to retrieve your bag at the end - not ideal. But on the whole, a great race on a challenging course, in a lovely setting.
Special mention and thanks must go to the marshals and public alike who really were the most encouraging (vocal) and supportive ever - a BIG thank you. The signs of encouragement on the hill at 8+ miles were a great touch.
Back for more next year.
