In short: Beautiful scenery, friendly atmosphere
In full: I did the 13 mile course. This was my 1st proper trail race. It was well marked, only a few places where you had to stop and have a good look for the markers. My only other gripe would be that when I registered they had run out of maps.
Overall there was a really friendly atmosphere. The course was one of the most scenic Ive ever run. The terrain was challenging as you'd expect. I really enjoyed the variety of the terrain.
Id very happily do it again.

In short: Wonderful atmosphere!
In full: Theres probably not much to say that people dont already know.....
The atmosphere was incredible - having the Red Arrows and Mo Farrah start your race is really something special!
I dont know how they do it with so many people but the organisation was flawless.
The finish is certainly the scenic highlight of the course - beautiful!
A great race!

In short: Fantastic race!
In full: This was my 1st Hellrunner experience and I wasnt disappointed! It was a really really fun race. Great mix of terrain, the bogs were insane - I doubt Ive ever smelled so bad! Finishing in the 'Bog of Doom' was hilarious!!
I would certainly recommend wearing old clothes/shoes - optimally stuff that you could just throw away afterwards - your white shoes will never look the same again!!!
Nice goodie-bag with good tech t-shirt.
My only suggestion would be an extra water-station. 1 really didnt feel like enough and theres no way you can keep a water bottle clean going through the bogs....
Over-all I loved it and would definitely do it again!

In short: Most fun I've had at a race in a long time!
In full: This was a really fun race.
I parked up about 2 minutes before the race was due to start (sat nav had a temper tantrum!) The marshals were really nice and got me to the start line.
All through the race they were great. I dont think I've ever come across such enthusiastic volunteers - they were so encouraging!
The route was lovely - a mix of road, canal pathway and forest paths. Challenging climbs in places but a good mixture of up/down/flat.
The goody bag was nice. A t-shirt would have been good, maybe next year?
Overall, it was a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning and I'd definitely do it again.
