In short: Perfect marathon
In full: Everything from the marshalling, scenery, water stations, medal, goody bag and hot showers were faultless. Even the weather was fab!

Was particularly impressed with the drinks stations. I put two drinks in box 2 and as I ran up to the water station the marshall already had my drink out, opened, all ready for me. I was able to maintain the same pace.

My favourite is the Kielder marathon but this is a very close second.

In short: May cause the core temperature to drop...
In full: Tip for runners - if you do the half make sure you have plenty of warm clothing transported to the finish as you may have a very long wait for the coaches. Unexpectedly waiting for 1.5 hours in the bitter cold and rain was the downfall of this run.

Tip for organisers - please make it clear on your site what time the coaches arrive.
