In short: Well done on your first attempt
In full: A pleasant Sunday morning race through pleasant countryside with the rain just holding off. There were 2 gradual climbs but they were the type that any reasonably fit person could deal with. The race was well organised and glad to report no vehicular problems. There was a small problem with a horse which was not under full control by its owner and this does reflect the potential damage a spooked horse could do. Fortunately it all came to nothing. Overall a lovely race. Hope to return next year.

In short: Good race if you are preparing for the London Maratat the entrance hon.
In full: First of all I found the organisation pretty average. The marshalls were friendly but I think that there could have been a few more, especially near the railway bridge at the 7 mile mark, prior to the left turn. And what about the water stations? We were told at the 4 and 7 mile markers. There were at the 3.5 and 8.2 mile marks. The guy at the "8 mile" station kept on telling us that there were just 2 miles to go that did not fool anybody into believing that the station was in the wrong place. This is not all, the pre race informtion which we received stated that there was ample parking, I got there 50mins before the start and the area was a complete traffic jam with 2 marshalls doing nothing but standing like gingerbread men at the entrance to the school and not bothering to offer any assistance as to where you can park your car. The HQ was not up to the job in hosting 1000 runners and they ran out of hot drinks at the hot drinks counter. And for the guy who did the announcements at the presentation, I will not say anything more about. Pity I could not find any fault with the actual course save for the lack of water at the drinks stations and at the end. We had about 10 from my club and I will not be recommending to anybody next year. Shame we had it as a club championship when it used to start in front of the Cathedral.

In short: Interesting race, not for the faint hearted.
In full: Kamikaze downhill you had to alert on this one, especially as it was so soon after the start. Big, big hill, put many other hills to shame. A bit concerned about all the fly tipping and possible arguments with 4x4 vehicles and off road bikers along the second half of the course. Nearer 9 miles perhaps the lack of mile markers were trying to tell us something! Will never the 2 marshalls at the halfway stage, one who told us it was halfway, and I checked my watch..38 mins, and the other who told us that he would be lying if the rest of the race was all downhill! Be will do it again.

In short: I liked the announcer's sense of humour, especially when he asked if there were any sub 30 minute runers there. The 5 km stretch along the Thames was uplifting. Shame that the long winter meant no daffodils in the wooded part. Was that Oxford or Cas

In short: A hidden gem, great scenery although not a pb course. It may have been idea if there was a dessignated area to leave yor racing gear at the start/finish instead of at the Leisure Centre. Will recommend this race as an event for my Club's Champs.

In short: Great race great weather well done the Priory!
In full: This is the perfect race for an evening outing. The weather was perfect too, and the 19:30 start allowed plenty of time for the City worker to make the start. Oh yes, the time ensures that the weather conditions are conducive to everyone's comfort. I could not help having a snigger at those ladies who insisted at wearing lycra tights and having their jumpers tied around their waists, they must have been overheating by the time they got to the hill! Well done Reigate Priory look forward to the Mob Match and maybe the Holly Run. But.. I am a member of Dulwich Runners, not Dulwich Park Runners!

In short: Will be back next year
In full: I cannot really opt out of this one the race passes my flat at the 2 km mark! This is definately a summer race, who would want to squelch your way through High Elms in the winter! Maybe some of the kilometre markings were out of position, but overall a great morning. And, it is great to be able to jog to the start.

In short: makes a pleasant change .
In full: an unusaul race. You do not get many races held on a Saturday afternoon. Also the organisation, a drinking club with a running problem, yet they know how to organise. More people may stay for the downdowns if transport to and from the nearest railway station is organised, as there is no public transport to and from the villge. Forget about a pb but with general atmosphere and scenery, who cares.
