In short: Well marshalled and a good atmosphere.
In full: Might have been a better second half if I hadn't tripped over on a gravelly pavement (must have just caught my toe) and got a few grazes, however I soldiered on and managed a reasonable 4:44. Hills not as bad as expected. I will probably be back next year. Good local brew pub nearby too.

In short: Great race, got my litte legs racing along faster than for a long time! Hope to be back next year
In full: At the start the organisers apologised for a lack of toilets - now worries, there were no long queues and they still flushed! Nice goody bag too. Great value and it's only 20 minutes for me to get there. Parking fine too. Loved it.

In short: Challenging course but great support and marshalling.
In full: Great run but pity the last bit is a run round the muddy field! I saw one lady take her trainers and socks off and run round the field barefoot - she said her socks cost her £12 and she wasn't getting them muddy!

In short: Very enjoyable race, great marshalls and support.
In full: My third NF marathon, each time I've had a challenge for my own reasons. I will remember it best for running in the same race as friends - one who was doing her first marathon and one who was doing her 100th! I will be back again, hopefully.
Only one complaint - didn't see as many ponies this year as last! :-)

In short: A grand day out. Excellent water and sponge provisions around the course and a lovely buffet at the end.
In full: Great organisation and marshalling. Nice to see so many people I knew too. My only 'complaint' is that the free bus from Douglas to Ramsey didn't have a stopping point in Laxey where I was staying. Caused me a bit of a domestic but got there in the end. Very pleased too to have been awarded first in my category (ok, there were only two of us but hey!) - just like the first tiem I ran this race in 2004.

In short: Challenging but very enjoyable run. Marshalls and organisation excellent. Lovely hot shower afterwards - could have had a free swim if I'd brought my cossie!
In full: Might have bettered my 3:57 if I hadn't have run the South Downs marathon the day before but hey. Made it a memorable weekend doing the 'Downs double'. Will make sure I enter early next year.

In short: A Grand Day Out. Brilliant views, a great challenge, very well organised.
In full: A smashing race. The weather was rather warm but it meant great views so it was worth it. I wouldn't fancy running it in wet weather - the chalk would be very slippy. Liked the medal and t-shirt. Hope to be back again next year.

In short: Where else would the start be delayed because of a Pony Drift?
In full: A lovely run, despite the rather warm weather and my ever more painful knee. Water stations were frequent and they seemed to have plenty of water even for those of us nearer the back than the front! I made use of all the sponge stations - for my knee and head, and the water was cold despite the heat. Marshalls were very good too. Made it worth the 4.5 hour drive back home in traffic jams on the M3/M25. Pity it's the same weekend as the Boat Show.
