In short: Back to the drawing board.
In full: A real shame. This had the potential to be thoroughly enjoyable. Swinley Forest is beautiful and a lovely place to run however it was severely let down by some major mistakes and some minor grumbles.

We arrived at 9.20 only to realise we were at the wrong entrance. Many others also had the same problem. There were no signs or marshalls. We eventually found someone in the cafe who helped. We drove a further 10 minutes or so and it was not easy to find. There were only 2 toilets and no loo roll. The start was delayed by 50 minutes and once running there were limited signs or marshalls at key points. I was in the lead group and ran the wrong way like many others. This was so deflating and once I got to the first net I had lost a lot of time for no reason.

The course was great with some nice obstacles but it would have been better if they were more evenly spread out as there was a while in the middle where there was no obstacle. It would also have been a good idea to have larger obstacles as there was a lot of conjestion at points. This was also the case near the end when the 2 races converged.

There was also poor signage at the end, lots of runners had gone the wrong way and went through the car park.

The series could be good but some serious changes need to be made. The cost was a lot for what you got. The goody bag could have been better and i do not think a t shirt is incentive enough to return.
