In short: Good friendly local race
In full: I enjoyed the race, but it isn't one ti travel a long way for. Friendly and encouraging; interesting but not a fantastic course. I'll do it again because it's local.

In short: Everything it should be, but I wasn't prepared for the hills
In full: We're all complaining about the hills. There weren't really so bad, it was just all the talk of being a pb course that meant they were unexpected.
Can't fault the organisation, the great support and the friendly marshalls.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyable race, and home before 12
In full: I love local club races. Very low key, but friendly, and with some really high standards at the front. This was three laps around Beddington Park - despite it only being 5 miles from home I've never been there before. Very picturesque with streams, churches, bridges, and a cricket match next door. Loved the start - everyone milling around in a positive sort of way, then suddenly the whistle blows and we're off.

In short: Too much weather
In full: I found this really tough, and was so cold when I finished.... Kudos to the great marshalls. Got a pb, so something was going right.

In short: Lots of long downhills make it a great race with pb potential even if you walk uphill. Really friendly.

In short: Fun, fun, fun
In full: A positive cross country experience. Pretty tough on the shale bits - both up and down hill. Excellent encouraging marshalls.
