In short: Superbly organised, fabulous run! Thanks TW Harriers! In full: Race was fautless from start to finish. Race number and details received in the post prior to the event. Loads of information provided about the weather conditions in the run up to the event. Excellent communication. Organisation on the day was great, marshals for the portaloos were very efficient and great to be able to choose your size of t shirt beforehand. Loved the race- tough course but I got a new HM PB. The marshals were amazing, and the public support was great. Lost count of the number of times I was cheered on. All in all, a great race. Thank you! Date of review: February 24, 2013

In short: Beautiful scenic run, amazing experience In full: This was my second time running this half marathon and it didn't disappoint. Few issues with toilet queue and baggage queue, but I think I should have just allowed more time. Fabulous support by the crowds, lots of water stations, other runners were sensible and make sure to throw water bottles off the road out of the way. Great medal and t-shirt. Love this race and hopefully I will be back next year. Date of review: October 8, 2012

In short: Hard, hilly but totally worth it! In full: 10 miles of glorious scenery, lots of hills, mud and bogs. Really tough race but enjoyed the long sweeping downhill section at mile 4-5 and miles 8-10. Great support from others runners on the course, lots of water stations and jelly babies. Great to hear my name shouted as I came across the finish line. Nice souvenir t shirt. Date of review: September 13, 2012

In short: Well organised great run In full: Well organised run with friendly marshals and a good mix of standards. It was far too hot though and I think an August 10k should plan to start earlier in anticipation of the hot weather- a 9am start would have been much better. I think it would have been better to have another water station in light of the temperature on the day. All in all a good race that could have been much more comfortable if it had started earlier. Great t-shirt as a finishers prize- much better than another medal! Date of review: August 20, 2012

In short: Well organised great run with fabulous scenery In full: Well organised run with brilliant marshals. Tough course for a beginner like me, felt like a hill around every corner although really enjoyed the scenery between mile 6-10. Yes there is a big hill just after 10 miles, but I chose to walk up it and save my legs. The marshals cheered you on at every point, the water stations were well spaced out and the sponges were an added bonus. Finish through central park and then onto the track where everyone cheered you on for a sprint finish. Got a medal, banana and squash at the end. Oh and a 20% off Sweatshop voucher which was great. No need for a goody bag and I thought it was reasonably priced at £19 for affiliated runners. I wouldn't do it again, but only because the hills were just a bit too challenging for me. But as a local half marathon, very well organised and great support. Date of review: July 23, 2012
