In short: Getting better every year
In full: Yes it's busy and it's difficult to overtake at times; but this year was just great - weather helped immensely, organisation is getting better every year (this is my 6th) and the crowds were brilliant (even on the bits where normally nobody cheers) - they just need to make that last viaduct/motorway section a bit more interesting...

In short: Another great year for Reading 1/2 Marathon - fantastic organisation , great toilet facilities , and a larger spectator turn out then last year.

In short: organisation seems to get better and better, especially if you book your carpark in advance and don't have to wait for buses or your bags ! No delays at the medal/goody-bag handout .

In short: Love this race - it's always fun
In full: This year's ending was a bit disappointing - having to trundle through waste deep rainwater at an underpass - sure Salisbury council could have pumped it out??

Other then that (and sliding face down in the mud at Mile 6) - it;s an excellent race. It's friedly, quirky and look forward to next year.

In short: I loved it.
In full: What more could you want from a half marathon? beautiful scenery, mud, slippery slopes, pretty villages, good support, brilliant organisation and a nice friendly atmosphere.
I thought the New Forest half was lot harder (and more boring) then this one. Sure , I was 10 minutes later, but enjoyed it a lot more! Might be tempted to do the full one next year but it will require a bit more training..

In short: 2nd time and will be back again. Could do with a few more supporters at the last few miles.
