In short: Very hard, very fun, brilliant VFM as free entry to the festival as well!
In full: Very well organised race, very hard course, including putting the finish at the top of a hill (seriously?! lol). Very well marshalled throughout, 2 water stations, great finish line commentator (my wife was laughing all the while I was running!). Nice technical T Shirt at the end. Free entry to the festival is amazing value for money.
Highly recommend this event - well worth the pain!

In short: A great local race, with a novel twist on a finishers memento
In full: Great fun, very mixed terrain, road, track, riverbank (needed mowing!! lol). Stupidly hot and sunny this year, a struggle because of the weather. Don't be scared by running alongside the Maximum Security Prison, as long as you keep moving you're safe! Nice atmosphere before and after, fun run for kids.... just a great local event.

In short: Not flat (I'm from Fenland!) but definitely fast and fun
In full: Very well organised, very well marshalled. Great course, PB by 6 mins so very happy. Only recommendation would be to think about changing the finish as it's a bit tight and twisty for a sprint!

In short: Superb race, ideal for a beginner or seasoned athlete
In full: Very good organisation, superb marshalling, interesting route around a town I know very well. Very flat, slightly cramped in a couple of places but nothing serious
