In short: A challenging course - made tougher by the weather today. In full: Has grown year on year into a great local race and great to see that the course organisers continually look to improve and re-jig the route.
In short: As enjoyable as ever. Much appreciated. In full: I love the coaster. How many people actually use their cheap race T-shirts more than a few times? Its false economy & not great for the environment. At least the coaster is a lasting memento.
Only gripe as already mentioned the loos. Let's hope next year the person with the key to the Toilets near the Car Park doesn't oversleep :) again. They were open after the race - why not before?
In short: A great addition to the running calendar. Selfishly would like it to be a kept a secret & not grow too big! In full: A few teething problems at start and I guess the logistics of organising a Point to Point Race could excuse them all.
The key thing - the course/marshalling and supply of drinks were excellent. We really do appreciate all those marshalls (although might not always say so at the time!) and as with all marathons those in the tail-end of the course had a lot of hanging around.
As soon as next years is announced will be in my diary. Date of review: November 10, 2007
