In short: Very well orgainised race on traffic free roads- excellent.
In full: Really enjoyed this race. All roads being closed to traffic was an achievement so close to a busy town. Organisation was fault-less. Excellent - well done.

In short: Very enjoyable race which was excellently organised.
In full: This was a great race, very scenic, mostly on grass. Marshalled very well with very friendly people. And a great cause to boot.

In short: An okay race let down by the finishing fiasco.
In full: I've liked this race in the past, but there has been a route change which now takes you alon pot-holed residential roads, through narrow gaps, and along short sections of road where you are channelled into an impossible narrow width. But the piece de resistance was the complete fiasco at the finishing line where you had to queue up just to cross it and then spend the next 10 minutes in the funnel. Probably won't make the effort again.

In short: Cold, wet and hilly but the spectators were incredible considering the weather.
In full: The Organisers must sort out the congestion at the start/finish especially in and out of the changing tent. It was the same the last time I did it two years ago and certainly not improved. It's put me off bothering to travel to this one again. Definitatly not the 'best half marathon', try Plymouth and I'm sure there are a few others.

In short: Very windy conditions (understatement) plus the rain made it very challenging. What T-shirt? They weren't handing them out when I crossed the line.
