In short: well organised well supported race!
In full: perfect weather conditions for a well organised race. very bitter in the morning but great once race under way in the lovely sunshine. Good route out to north of the city into the lovely countryside. Allesley Park was a challenge after already negotiating several inclines! liked running back through city centre literally! Great support from locals and vocal marshalls.Plenty of water stations even picked up a jelly baby or two along the way! Millenium Place made for a great race village.Like the medal and tech t-shirt! Only gripes are would like to see the clock on way to finish, was faced the other way! Also trek to Arena Retail Park, is this necessary? and wont be able to use voucher! Shop did look impressive though. Well done Coventry blow Leicester off the map!!

In short: got makings of a great classic! Chippenham Half beware you have competition!
In full: Despite the pouring rain, this did not dampen or detract from a great challenging half marathon. The course started from the atmospheric high street in town centre and weaved past the Abbey onto an undulating route sufficiently challanging with out kiling you! The course was well marshalled very encouraging and good support considering lousy weather. The choccy flapjacks were most welcome and even some gel tabs were available! I got home in under two hours which was my PB target having done Melksham 10 last week as prep run. As another runner mentioned brilliant goody bag - fantastic medal and super tech shirt. Melksham 10 you must take note for next year :-). There was even got a print out of finish time and 10k split. Well done dBMax, classic event!!

In short: good flat course. ideal for beginner doing a longer run. No medal!!
In full: good flatish course. Nice race for those working up to half marathon distance. Well organised and well marshalled. Popularity of race was such that lots of cars down country roads wanting a look and getting in way. Also too local farmers were keen to bring their tractors and trailers out and i was nearly hit twice or was that garotted! Dont get me wrong though great route to and around Reybridge/Lacock and back to Melksham. Definitely do again, BUT WHERE IS THE GOODY BAG & MEDAL YOU TIGHT G$%'s!!

In short: very well organised race in hot conditions but very enjoyable nontheless!
In full: a very well organised race by Wootton Bassett Hounds RC. Nice straight forward road race on a rectanguler course. Nasty little incline at mile 4! There was a good atmosphere. Plenty of friendy encouraging marshalls. Good Bag was a Broad Town 5 duffle bag cool! nice little medal. would of liked a t shirt like the marshalls rather then the childs waterproof poncho!?!?

In short: A very tough hardcore race - certainly challenging but very rewarding!
In full: This is the toughest race i have done and knew it was going to be a challenge. So glad it hadnt rained for weeks before hand as this would of been a run from hell. It was tough enough but the glorious sunshine and terrific views made it all worth while. Organisation and atmosphere was brilliant and enjoyed the banter at the start between the runners and the starter.Next year can come soon enough. Top class event put in your must do runs list :-)

In short: very tough, muddy, organisation bit back to front but terrific challenging course all for a christmas bauble!
In full: A great location for a run. The conditions made for a wet muddy course. Running through wet grassy fields. not too bad along estate tracks but off path the going was muddy and slow with a horrible climb half way around. Our rest was sprinting down the grassy vally for approx 2km! Then another climb out uphill to the finish which was just over 9k not quite 10k. Unusually the goodie bag was handed out before at registration meaning a trek back to car and back to start. Memento was a Christmas bauble reindeer emblazed upon it! Enjoyed mince pie after. Ill wear trail shoes next time!
