In short: Excellent Race, well organised and fast pb course
In full: My 2nd year doing this race and it really is a fast course. A couple of inclines over the motorways but the rest is flat.

Nice touch with getting a towel, much need for cross country season!

Well done to Spectrum Striders

In short: Well done Run Liverpool - cracking event
In full: The organisation of this race was superb. Right from free train to Liverpool, plenty of toilets through to t-shirt and medal.

The tunnel was great just to get out of the wind for a bit. The incline really isnt that bad and is over soon enough.

In short: Cracking race with superb organisation.
In full: Well done to the VLM team. The organisation was superb considering the number of runners.

My only negative point was the pen numbers. I was going for sub 3 but was put in pen 5. After mile one my goal was over as a 9min mile. Not sure how they fix this but when you see people in earlier pens walking from the start its annoying.

In short: This is an absolute cracking race with superb organisation
In full: The organisation of this race is superb. The crowds were great and really supportive and the hills seemed to be smaller this year!

With the weather being so good this was a really good start to racing year.

Well done Helsby.

In short: Well organised and fast 10K course
In full: the organisation was superb and with waht appeared to be hundreds of marshalls the race ran very well.

This was my first time and I read about the hills towards the end. However, based on other events ran this year this was positively flat thought the 'inclines' actually helped keep your pace.

This is a greta race and one that anyone can do and enjoy. Well done Spectrum Striders

In short: Cracking 5 mile sprint
In full: Weather was superb after a windy day and the course was really good. I can see why so many people get a PB providing they get their speed right on the 1st two miles.

Organisation seemed really good and only gripe were how miserable the marshall's were. They did they jobs so fairs fair but smiling and bit of encouragement would not good amiss.

In short: Road, Pathways, Mud & things to jump - Superb
In full: I am a road runner but every now and again I get dragged to a cross country race or similar. I lovd this race, hills were steep but over before you knew it and the cross country part was very muddy.

Organisation was spot on.

In short: 6th and last time but I LOVE this race
In full: Ran this with a friend and loved every minute. The crowds are great, the banter amongst runners was spot on with the odd idiot who thinks pushing through people is going to help they get a better time!!. It aint rocket science, you want a PB do a different race (hence why this is my last).

Murder getting out at the end but what do you expect with that many people involved - organisation is really good and I dont believe they can do much more to make it better.

In short: Outstanding Half-Marathon
In full: Really enjoyed this race. The organisation was great and the marshalls were so friendly and helpful.

I was waiting for the hills and to be fair up until mile 10 it was going really well. Mile 10 to 12 was a nightmare, not because it steep but lenght. However, still managed a PB so I am a happy bunny!

In full: Ohmygod! my first fell race and didnt I under estimate what a fell race entailed! I am certaintly aching in places I didnt know could ache.

Organisation was superb, friendly marshalls and my two little girls loved the fete.
