In short: Fabulous unique race. Run in 2012
In full: Fabulous race that starts and finishes on the beach on the east coast. The rest is made up of road, cliff sides and short stretches on the beach. Tough race but extremely enjoyable. Lots of support as you run through some of the little villages. Bus organised to take you to the start. Nice race top given to all those that's complete

In short: Fabulous run around derwent dam, the scenery was stunning and took your mind of some of the hills. Undulating course. Home made buns and cakes awarded to all finishes. A very special race that fills up extremely quick!

In short: Very flat 10mile race around the race course and countryside in thirsk, starting and finishing at the race course. Nice race but it was spoilt alittle by needing to run up and down one road for about 2 miles just to make the mileage up to ten

In short: Tough undulating course through Bawtry forest woods. Just over a 10k. Not a course for a PB. Extremely muddy, almost lost a trainer-think I should have worn my trail shoes!

In short: Very undulating course, tough in places but scenic. Enjoyed reading the words of encouragement along the way and seeing some of the marshalls/sponge givers in fancy dress!

In short: Out and back 10k, mostly flat, good for a PB. Large number of entrants so a little cramped at the start. In aid of help the aged so the slightly steep price was worth it!

In short: A lovely scenic run which was very well organised. The only negative was the weather but that made it all the more challenging. Plenty of drink stations and Marshals along the way

In full: Started with an early start at 8am. The first half of the race was quite nice running around the palace at the bottom of the royal mile and arthurs seat, but the second half of the run was quite dull along the sea front. That last three miles was the worse - running out on a pointless bit of road, to turn round and run to the finish. Spectators were not allowed at the finish line either. The goodie bag at the end was quite exciting and the t shirt was good quality. The baggage collection point was chaotic - with bags thrown on the floor (dont leave anything valuable or breakable as a few looked like they got trodden on

In short: A fabulous scenic run which starts with the sound of bagpipes at the local sport centre. Very hilly, but managable and well worth it. Everyone running were so friendly and helpful. Well worth the 1000 mile drive to get there, what a gorgeous place.
