In short: Charming race thats very friendly
In full: The only thing I would say is that the sinage to the field for parking and to the race HQ wasnt very good.
BUT.... the marshals were great, organisers very friendly and the day was well worth the run. Very hot but on the whole, a charming race that is great for beginners and elite aalike!

In short: Porential for a very nice marathon, comments need to be listened to
In full: Many people have varying views on this race but without a doubt, the biggest problem was the weather. This is not the organizers fault so shouldnt be blaming them for that BUT as bad weather was forcast, they should have had certain things prepared. Luckily, for a bit, we could shelter in the stadium but when we were all ushered outside, it took a while to notice someone walking around handing out ponchos which would have been handy to get on arrival.
The route on a clear day would be beautiful but the pathways are rather narrow so passing and being passed can be a problem.
The finish line was quite depressing as it was 2 timing strips on the floor, nothing else so I wasn't sure if that was the actual finish so a sign would be nice there. SPACE BLANKET? REALLY poor there. Even on a nice day, after a marathon, the body temperature drops and we need a space blanket, There should be one available at the end of a marathon. Was informed that towards the end of the route, the loos were located far from the route as they were "Placed on the wrong area" when she complained she was told "Well it isn't THAT far!" and that was at around th 20 mile mark! The locals are amazing. Even in the Biblical weather, they turned out and cheered us on and it really lifted us all! Big well done to the runners and a massive thank you to the people that came out to cheer us on!!
All in all though, It is worth doing.

In short: Absolutely brilliant!!
In full: Amazing Race and a must for anyone afterr a PB!
The support from the locals was great and where there wasn't support, there was amazing scenery! No Mp3 players were allowed but it turned out that it isnt needed! The scenery and friendlyness of the runners is more than enough to take your mind off of the distance!
The only thing I would suggest is making the road to the finish line, coned off for the runners at the back.
As I walked along, I noticed other runners with their supporters walking along the road and getting in the way of the people trying to finish the race which was unfortunate.
Definately worth getting there early to get a parking space and loos without queues.
but all in all, Brilliant race!

In short: PB ppotential, fast course, friendly, loved it!
In full: I did this run barefoot and managed a P. I was surprised as early on in the race as there are many runners on narrow roads, there gets a bit of congestion but it soon thins out.
But his was a fantastic run. Well done to all involved!!

The route is definately hilly and difficult but well worth doing.
The organisation is spot on, the marshalls, pacers, vooulenteers and everyone involved in making this race were absolutely fantastic!

In full: On the whole, I lovve this race. Everyones real freindly and their is a great atmosphere about it. A bit narked that a "celeb" gets to park their car at the start line while the rest of us have to walk but ther than that, it was a great day all in all :o) Ran last year, this year and look forward to next year!

In short: Weather making this a tough one but worth doing.
In full: There were apparently signs to the car park but I didnt see any so parked at the Village hall.
The officials were all friendly enough and the route itself very pleasant.
The heat made it very difficult (Not the organisers fault obviously). But the actual race was kinda like a lot of people going for a training session together as there were no road closures and the number of runners made it seem like a large group rather than an actual planned race BUT it was a pleasant course and the officials were all nice and the atmosphere very friendly.
I would certainally do it again
