In short: A good race.
In full: The marshalls were very supportive. It must have been hard standing there for two hours as it was cold and windy at first. I know the route was changed, but it could not be helped. I think I prefered the new route, as more scenic. I do not really mind the cups, if it keeps the price down. I am not going so fast that it goes all over me, but I know this must be annoying if you are running faster! Good support from the public here, I thought and even good support from the fast runners running to the finish. I shouted "well done" to the winning male (I assume he won, anyway) and he kindly shouted the same back to me, even though he was winning! How thoughtful!

In short: Positives were: it is flat, marshall were friendly, mile markers at each mile (and i was at back, so I know they were there) and a LOVELY showere at end which makess you feel a lot better
In full: Also well organised wrt car parking, which sounds silly but can be a pain if you are miles away. Negatives; Was rather expensive.

In short: Thanks to all the support staff/marshells, I got round.
In full: Good weather today. Support only from marshells who were great. Thanks also to the peole at the water stops and Afford rent a car driver for support/help. I had never run this distance before. It is a good marathon prep race. Pity there was no chocs left by the time I limped my way round. Well organised on the day, but I agree the map could have given more detail. Thanks to all the faster runners who encouraged me, as they lapped me. Good car park facilites near the start.

In short: A brilliant race.
In full: This is my 3rd dewsbury 10K in a row. It is an excellent event. Not too clubby, friendly marshalls, smiling police, sunny day...what more can you want. Looks like the area around 4 K is improving. Good T shirt, but please try and get more smaller sizes. I finished in just over an hour and had a large one (but only a small fault). Guess I should run faster. Thanks to all organisers!
