In full: Great race - flat course and well organised with precise km markers. 3 laps may not be everyone's cup of tea but when each lap takes you past flamingos and rhinos (plus allow an extra water station) - it works. Chance to make a full day out of it in the zoo afterwards is an added bonus. Weather was good for running - glad it wasn't 'otter'. Date of review: June 5, 2011

The only downside to this race is that it makes 'run of the mill' 10K races feel comparatively dull. Great race. Date of review: June 7, 2010

In short: Very good race and location - shame about the weather after about twenty minutes although it was 'refreshing'. Only minor critiscism was the erratic kilometer markers - they didn't seem to be evenly spread. Date of review: November 22, 2009

In full: Hard going in the hot temperature but a very pleasant route and well organised event. I seemed to do the first 1 km very quickly and then the second 1 km very slowly so wasn't convinced by km markers (and then hit the hill) which through timing out somewhat but overall good value and location. In short: Good race, slightly hilly but nothing too daunting. Shame a few more roads in busy places weren't closed but course was well marshalled. Date of review: March 1, 2009
