In short: Four laps of the same course is never inspiring but great marshalls and good organisation
In full: This is the first time I've run the Worthing Open 20 and, as one of the slower runners ad the back finishing in 3.33 I really enjoyed the support of faster runners and the marshalls. Very friendly race with good organisation, apart from the loos it was really well organised and friendly.

In short: If you can't organise a race for 15,000 people then don't invite that many to your party. The delay at the start for an hour in a muddy inadequate field got everything off to a poor start. The chaos at the end was a health and safety nightmare.
In full: If this event has been organised for a number of years they should have sorted out the problems of getting people safely away from the finish. It was a disaster waiting to happen, not to mention the time factor and the lack of medals and T shirts. A well done to the supporters and marshalls out on the course however, they could not have worked harder or been better organised.

In short: Good fun, hillier than undulating, well organised but getting out of the car park was a nightmare!

In short: Great atmosphere, nice to have closed roads a big thank you to the marshalls!
In full: My first Barns Green and will be on the list again as a really friendly race even though all the club vests at the start were a little daunting. Nice touch in the programme taking so much care to sort people into categories so you could compare yourself against your particular age group. Local for me and I will certainly do again.

In short: My 5th one and I will be back again next year!
In full: Hottest of the 5 I have done and very challenging. However the excellent support and water stations meant that I was able to overcome my dehydration problems and finish. A big thank you to the 100s of people who give up their time to marshall and organise. I agree with the other comments I have read about some impatient drivers who had the potential to spoil the day.

In short: Great race and support, only niggle was gettting drinks at the end
In full: Great race well supported and organised, big thank you to everyone who gave up their day in the cold. I do however agree that at the end it was very difficult to find a drink, hot or cold, could not see for the crowd of spectators and runners which was a bit of a disappointment at the end of a good run when you really needed a drink. Very hard but will do it again next year.
