In short: Great first 10K In full: This was my first 10K and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The course was very scenic and well-marshalled. The marshals were friendly with an encouraging word or a clap as you went past.
The hills weren't too much for a first-timer like me, and I managed to hit my target time of sub 50. So I was very pleased.
I'm glad the other reviewers mentioned the missing km markers. I didn't see 6-8 either!
The fun run for the kids was great too: friendly costumed characters led the kids off to the start of their one-mile race. My son took part and really enjoyed it.
And after all that you can have a fun day out in Conkers with the family. Can't be bad! Date of review: September 20, 2011
