In short: Nice Town Centre run
In full: First time I've done this or a 5k having only done a few longer races before. Probably more suited to club runners as there is a fun run and vets race that precedes the open race. Still managed not to feel too out of my depth. 3 laps up Hallgate is a "treat" but the rest is quite quick. Well supported and marshalled. Nice tech t-shirt and bottle of Aldi water at the end.

In short: Lovely and quick, flat as a pancake!
In full: My first time and really was excellent. Well marshalled and good encouragement from pockets of locals in the woods!

Had no idea where I as half the time despite having been on the course walking several times. A nice mix of ground, grass, mud, etc and a nice bit of road for a fast finish.

Tech-tee and a bottle of water at the end. Great value race.

Really enjoyed it, see you next year. In fact see you next week at Brodsworth 5!

In short: Not as hilly as I thought!
In full: Awesome support in places. Industrial areas were quite depressing and demoralising. Not as hilly as I was led to believe but definitely not flat.
Trouble getting to the loo beforehand, was nowhere near enough toilets. Also seemed endless barriers cutting off access to the start.
I arrived at 8.30 as the traffic was also quite bad I ended up leaving my car at Centertainment and walking down (regretted the walk back!)
Water stations good placement, found it tricky drinking from a cup so tipped it over my head. Sponges were handy as well.
All in all an enjoyable first half marathon for me!

In short: Not as flat as they make out but what goes up must come down
In full: Got stuck at the start despite starting where I thought I should. Garmin measured course as 6.33 miles so a tad over 10k. Nice to run round the town without the traffic. Would do again with it being my home run. Probably could do with being a bit cheaper.
