In short: £12 To enter, no prices for second or third In full: Marshalls were half sleeping and the quick runners had to ask the direction at every crossroad. At one moment a marshall waved the traffic through right at the top 3 runners. All in all, a completely pointless race, we may well just donate the race entry fee to the organisers and choose a better race, (there are plenty around that beats this one) Date of review: September 9, 2007

In short: WARNING I won't be doing this one again. In full: I finished second in the overall race, and was given exatly the same as the last runner...nothing. During the race, the marshalls stood chatting instead of indication directions, and twice both me and the winner were ahead of the leader car, and at one stage it was caotic with cars and runners in both lanes and directions on the road.
But the absolutely worst thing was the organisation of the kids race, where the fastest boy and girl were forgotten and almost not allowed to start in the final after winning their heats, this is very important to six year old "athletes" in the making, and on top of it all, the speaker and were taking the mickey saying that he didnt know if the parents or kids were more competitive, obviously he has never done any sport on any level himself. I would imagine that most people want to be as good as they can be.
