In short: Average race with a mix of road running as well as towpath running
In full: The route was ok (mix of road and off road along the towpath). The route could have been better if you didn't have to run past runners coming back past you. The medal was cheap rubbish, considering the entry price. Overall a very average race.

In short: As always the Handy Cross Runners put on a wonderful event
In full: I've done this one a few times, and its always on that I look forward to on the race calendar. The organisation is always brilliant and goes like clockwork. Hats off to the Handy Cross Runners for putting this one on.

In short: Nice run along the towpath. Great organisation
In full: The course was fantastic along the towpath. I liked the organisation with the use of the leisure centre. Overall a fantastic race with a quality medal at the end.

In short: Very hilly. Works the legs though
In full: The course is very hilly, and it makes it a difficult course to get a PB. Great to use as a hill training session if you don't have hills near you.

In short: Fantastic hill at the start. After that its plain sailing
In full: I thought the hill at the beginning was great. Got the legs working. After that it was flat and the last KM was all downhill and pure speed. Nice scenic route and also fine weather to top it all off. Definately be back for this one.

In short: Fantastic race. Great scenery and good sized field
In full: This was the first time I had entered this race, so I didn't know what to expect. It was a superb race. Just the right sized field, greate course, especially by the river. Organisation was brilliant. Well done to the organisers.

In short: Magnificent course to run on, but a challenge
In full: Course is fantastic. Very challenging, but enjoyable. The hills do seem harder on the second lap.

In short: A decent race, but overall too hot to enjoy it
In full: The three laps is ok around the course, but the heat was too much to really enjoy the race.

In short: Great PB Potential
In full: Overall a great race to run. Made for beginners as well as seasoned runners. Great medal and goody bag. T-Shirt is a good one. Water is the only gripe. Half the size of bottle is needed to prevent waste. On a positive note, enough water on a hot day.

In short: Excellent multi-terrain course in scenic grounds
In full: As usual, this race is fantastic. The course is a good mix of different terrains. The Wellington College grounds are fantastic to run in.
