In short: Great well organised race
In full: First race in the EMGP Series and a good 10K for a PB which I achieved. Did the HM here back in March so knew what to expect and the excitement has now worn off for me as the long straights are just so boring. Silston Joggers do a top job organising this and everything went very smooth, even the rain held off for us. Nice medal and bottle of water to finish, cakes and coffee if you want them. I would recommend this for any runner, I'm a just under the hour finisher and there were plenty of people behind me, its lovely and flat so no big hassle. Traffic wasn't great getting out of carpark but it didn't take to long. I am sure I will do it again next year as its on my doorstep but just use headphones to kill the boredom of those long straights.

In full: First time to this race and multi terrain so was alittle apprehensive. Did the 10K and I gotta say I really enjoyed it and my first at under the hour so well pleased. It was a very cold day and the course is undulating but a lovely country park and rather scenic. I am defo up for the next 2 rounds and also investing in some trail shoes, I could have done with more grip at times and I heard a few people went over on the icy corners. Organisation was ok, the start is just a free for all and go when you hear go. Could have done with more than a medal but never mind and also £2.50 to park is way to steep. All the marshals were great especially the black guy he was awesome, he was constantly shouting praise at everyone and how well we were doing. I hope you are there for the next two you made my day, thats if you have your voice back :-)

In short: It was so warm
In full: Signed up for the 5K when I was fairly new to running. Glad on the day it was not the 10 is was so so warm. This race is great, really good turn out and lots of entertainment round the course. That last climb back into Sixfields was not so good especially with the heat. No stalls selling drinks or food which was surprising only ice-cream van, take not for next year organisers. Great race for PB potential and I will defo be back next year

In short: Much Hillier than expected
In full: Nice 10K out of Buckingham and round Stowe School and Lakes. Much hillier than told/expected but a good challenge and enjoyed it. Probably be back next year
