In short: First time doing this run and wont be my last
In full: Had planned to take part in this run previously but this was the first year i got around to doing it. Having spoken to a few friends, i was concerned this might be dominated by club runners but found the atmosphere brilliant for seasoned runners and beginners alike. Great course out into the countryside with enough hills to be challenging with a nice flat 2km to the finish. Will def do this again, and the 5k version in June / July.

In short: First time at the stumble, wont be my last
In full: did the stumble as part of my trainging for HM in October. Challenging off road course, with some killer hills, a particular sand one and mud one spring to mind, but fun nonetheless. well marshalled and oragnised, although having to have a t shirt that was 2 sizes too big for me as my size was reserved for all the ladies was disappointing at the end. but will be back to do this again and also try the stagger...

In short: great 5k run as usual
In full: this time last year this was my first 5k, and i was delighted to run this race again this year. the monsoon we had during the day ensured that the mud trails added an extra dimension to this xc route. great organisation with a some great views that were ample reward for some tough little hills. cant wait till next year

In short: great first time experience of the bolt, but wont be last
In full: First time doing this course but really enjoyed the run, challenging in places with some positively swamp like trails in the forest, but maybe been near the back people in front of me made this worse, but great course with superb views and great organisation, will most definitely be back again next year!!

In short: Great early morning race, but those hills......
In full: Really enjoyable run taking in road running, some tough hills and a nice finish through some of the lesser seen midlands countryside. Well organised and one i would do again!

In short: Great morning, atmosphere and course
In full: enjoyable trail event which was my first, having only trained on road it was a challenge but an enjoyable one. Great atmosphere at the venue and very friendly. My first proper '10k' and very happy with my pro rata final time. Very helpful marshalls and well set up, a definite regular on my calendar from now on

In short: First 5k for me, and felt i had to work for it
In full: This was my first 5k, and having read reports from previous years i did think at one stage maybe this wasnt the ideal first race for me, however having walked the track a couple of weeks before, the build up weeks warming up etc meant that crossing the finish line was well worth the effort. I would maybe look to do a road run as my next race, however this was a wholly enjoyable race and really made me put the effort in
