In short: A new little 'cracker'!
In full: A new run put on by a new running club (the Allendale Striders) based in the village of Allendale. Splendid organisation. It's a tough course but wonderfully scenic - England's last wilderness. Come on up you southerners and see what England is really like! I think this run might get bigger and bigger - and there's a traditional village fair to boot! Well done all!!

In short: Cracking race - a couple of toughish hills, but scenery makes up for it. Traffic over the last 3 miles or so a bit intimidating and spoils it a bit.

In short: Mixed race - dullish bits with excellent.
In full: Quite challenging in places. Some dull parts but scenery around Hoe itself and into Barbican super. Well marshalled, friendly enough - a mix of good club runners but a lot of beginners too. Finish around track fun! Good time of year for spring half's and marathons.
