In short: Well well organised and friendly In full: The start and finish at the school was great - it meant that even though the weather on the day was tragic, there was plenty of dry space before and after. Marshals were great, some of the best on any run I've done - I say this because they managed to still be smiling even in the heavy rain. The only gripe is one that can't be avoided - the last 3-4 miles are uphill (you go downhill obviously at the start!) which is a really tough way to finish a race - some say it sorts 'the men from the boys', I say it's just painful! Nice race though. Date of review: September 1, 2013
In short: Great scenic route - quick with a few challenges In full: It's a flat race, with a few foot bridges to cross and kissing gates to negotiate. Also the path is narrow in places so if you don't like you pace interrupted by the route or other people, it's not for you. Saying that, I still managed a PB!
It's a really scenic route and the second time I've run it - I'm pretty sure I'll do it again next year. I live the variety the course gives you.
Organisers are slick, my only moan is they needed more loos at the start. Date of review: July 30, 2013
In short: Quick course with amazing support In full: Very well organised. Shame the weather was tragic this year, but the support was still great and the crew working the event were amazing. Some great live music on the course, but the course is pretty boring. Free bus service to and from Reading central was also well organised. Date of review: April 26, 2013
