In short: Nice race, beautiful scenery and challenging in places.
In full: Pre race excellently organised and very friendly. Not many toilets so get there early. Superbe parking and easy to get numbers and chip. Didn't see the KM markers apparently they were there but small. Finish area chaotic and queuing past the finish line so hard to get to the chip carpet. Needed to be a longer funnel and more people giving out medals/cutting chips off. More marshalls needed around the funnel to keep people moving so those behind could finish. But having said all that these were not major problems and didn't stop me from enjoying the race.

In short: Brilliant race and made by the weather.
In full: Well organised, mostly supportive race officials (a bit more cheering by marshalls earlier in the race). Very good for all shapes, sizes and experience of runners. Some more mesh sheeting around the runners village and better entrance/exit routes due to boggy conditions would have been good. More kit shops etc, not a lot to do before and after the race. A sign for inexperienced runners heading into the final straight (which was soooo long) saying not to sprint as some were kicking way too early. Overall, loved it.

In short: Superbe race with great marshalls and friendly general public cheering you on.
In full: Following in my Dad's footsteps (albeit 27 years later) it was a delight to run the full race rather than the fun runs. The course was fab although a little shingly at times but grass verges helped. Really supportive and friendly marshals and great support from general members of the public just out for a Sunday stroll. Water could have been better in bottles rather than cups but understand the risk of litter in such a wonderful area.
