In full: My third time running this event. Well organized and a good mix of abilities. Glad to have knocked four minutes off my PB. But value for money ? No. I very cheap hideous medal this year and no goody bag. Coffee and tea would have been nice. Not exactly sure what you are paying for. All time favourite ? It use to be, shame.

In full: I was really looking forward to this race.Awful weather all day ment it was going to be a challenge.Having run marathons and Ultras before i thought i knew what to expect.
What i did not expect was mud,mud and more mud. The first few miles where a nightmare. Absolutely pointless trying to run, even my Nike Trail shoes gave up.
The bad weather seemed to keep most people away as the event felt very elitest, i even overheard a runner moaning about slower runners getting in the way.
Overall well organised but this isnt a marathon. Its an Ultra Trail. And no medal, that was a suprise.
Would i do it again ? No.

In full: Brilliant well organised run. Some very steep hills that seemed to go on for ever but stunning scenery. Everyone was very friendly and the support was great. Lots of jelly babies and jaffa cakes. Nice medal and proper sponsored running shirt at the end. Also a hot free cornish pastie and a cup of tea. What more could you want. Definitely be back next year.
